Legends of Slots

Don't let the name fool you — Legends of Slots is a tactile little puzzle game where you spin stacked wheels and try to line up matching icons across a grid. Each wheel nudges one step at a time, and the fun is figuring out the order of spins so three suns or three anchors end up in a row. It plays a bit like a mechanical sliding puzzle wrapped in a storybook theme.

Controls are pure touch: tap a wheel to rotate it, swipe sideways to shift a whole column, and hold to preview where a symbol will land. The early levels teach you gently, but around the thirtieth stage it starts throwing locked wheels and limited moves at you, and suddenly you're planning three spins ahead. I liked that the difficulty ramps up without ever feeling cheap.

Visually it's warm and hand-drawn, with a little narrator who comments on your streaks. Sessions are short, which makes it a perfect bus-ride game. It won't blow your mind, but it's the kind of calm puzzle I keep reopening when I want to switch my brain off for a bit.
